Wire breaks at trx connector tab all the time. I have a pretty good experience with soldering, and I'm sure its not my iron, or the way I solder. Its happened only right after a real hard hit to...
Thanks again guys, I didn't think it would have a major effect on current flow, due to my knowledge in the automotive field. Just wasn't sure if the ESC is a little on the trouble side..
I use 80wt in my shocks, I have aluminum after market shocks. I bought black springs but they are significantly shorter, so I took my old green stock springs and stretched them to desired length, now...
So the wires from the esc are small 14g silver stranded wire. Not sure of the correct name for this type of wire. But could I solder some copper wire to it? (Automotive wire, which is stiffer, harder...
Yeah I made a few designs with simple coat hanger.
It held up pretty good considering I just had it bent under the shocks..
But not a whole lot of companies make a roll bar, so design one by myself...
I'm a basher here, with the 1/16 e revo. Have modified a good portion of the truck, and the stock body is tore up from the floor up... So I'm looking into getting the raptor body.
My question is...
Slipper isn't too loose. Nor super tight. I have a center diff. But ill replace the front diff and shim it and see if that would solve the problem
Well beside the front diff clicking. There's also something wrong within the motor. Not sure exactly what it is
Well actually after just running it, I had a question about my motor. It does have the raw power it used to have even with the 23t pinion. Stopped running that 18t cause I heard the noise, and I can...
Currently running the 23t provided "speed" pinion gear, and decided to buy a lower tooth gear just to mess around.
I install the gear, properly mesh the spur and pinion. I give it gas and it...
With a dremel tool or something?
How do you get them to fit? Can I buy longer axles so I can put the nut on it?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
I've run 3s since I got it 2months ago and haven't had a single problem with them.
Which dirt hawgs though? There 2 diff kinds a buggy or truck hawg. Truck size is 4" diameter I saw on another thread.
But I still don't think the buggy tires would fit under the bumper
I'm running the dirt hawgs (truck hawgs I believe) and I'm running the 23t pinion the truck came with and I only overheat when using 3s. But I like my 2s better due to runtime.
Lowering the amount...
I have full tbone chassis brace and the frt bumper doesn't fit due to my dirt hawgs are too tall.
Running with rpm knuckles and arms. Stock rods. But only problem I have is the ball popping out of the knuckle. Rods could use a little less play, but they take a pretty good beating. I heard steel...
I have the RPM knuckles and the pillow balls have popped out several times from hard bashing
Very nice thread. This task is very easy now. Planning on getting rear aluminum bulkhead
Yeah I've been doin the same thing, just bidding on parts I know ill go through
Tbone chassis brace has just been shipped, delrin braces by DP I bought from pave =) thanks again pave.
Lhs didn't have chassis or bulkhead in stock, I keep breaking them lol.
Alu bulks are on the...
Yes, similar break. Does this happen a lot? Or just from bashing so much? I had heard it break when I had landed wrong on a jump.
The break is at the back of the chassis, both times had snapped the bulkhead and chassis. Its between the shock mounts and rocker posts.
Ill see if I can upload a pic, my computer doesn't work so I use my phone for everything.
I love my mytouch4g slide =)
