cool modification, seems like a bit of a hassle but def. a upgrade in strength.
to be truly original you do NOT want a prographix body. you would want a clear "4111" stampede body and original decals and paint it as you wish.

tried going for the Ivan Stewart truck theme, i used the vxl rustler body. it almost mounts up perfectly, the rear mount you have to rig to make it work. hope you enjoy!

maybe you should consider not cutting out the side windows on the next body? i'm not sure if the front window cut-out is enough ventilation for cooling, but with having the side windows "intact" you...
i never drove a buggy before "and i still haven't driven this one" but i always thought they were neat, especially the TCP. plus the fact that it was the last "race" kit traxxas produced in the mid...

i'm all about the fj 40's can't beat the classic! i own a jeep lifted up on 37"s but i would trade it in a heart beat for a well maintained and built older cruiser.
