Broke the piston arm...AGAIN! All glory to the truck itself but the engine...urgh!

Still working on it, mine's so sturdy nowdays that I can fail as many jumps and double back/front flips I want but she won't let me have bench/quality time with her... Soon I will ram my truck into a...
Well, as long as my optidrive isn't making my life miserable I will keep the reverse. My truck tends to stay on the wheels but is fond off getting into situations where its either to go reverse or go...
As for the setting on the transmission when to shift i found that my trucks setting were on approx 6,5 turn out from the bottom. since its practically on factory settings still (new BIG air filter,...
Pitch test? Do you mean pinch?
As for the tightness on the slipper clutch I usually go to the bottom with the nut and then loosen it up 1/4 - 1/2 turn.
When I get home from work I will go...

Couldn't wait for the track to dry up, gave her quite the beauty treatment
I'm still using stock, however going to replace them with twice as strong ones in the future. Also considering to use a single servo for the steering as it might not be so bloody hungry for mAh's....
While the electric start is nice to have, you get pretty anoyed with it once the battery starts to go bad and the wires don't really hold up forever.
Used it til it broke down on me and switched...
Well, im not sure about the "correct" procedure but myself i've had to take off the engine when i remove the rear assembly. Makes it a little easier to get around all the screws. No worries though,...

Sounds like something which happened to me, a bearing in the diff housing broke to pieces and those little balls were everywhere in it. i would recommend taking it apart just to have a look at it....
Could either be issues from the factory or your handling. We can't tell, only speculate.
While it's very likely its one of these things you mentioned i still hope you are wrong just for the fun off seeing you eat your hat ;)
While tuning the engine is the most important part of how smooth it will run you will also have to adjust where the truck is going to shift to second gear.
If it's to soon which i guess it is in...
Alright, finally got home and took out my own revo just to make sure. Noppe the only noise i hear is from the clutch (plastic gear on plastic makes some noise), nothing from the transmission itself....
In case off a "how tight should the nut be?" I am adding that you should put it to the bottom and then loosen it 1/4 to 1/2 turn from there. How to do it is explained in the manual.

No, that the gear is spinning freely in the other direction freely is completly normal. When you rev, do the gears spin? If the gears are spinning, do you hear any weird noises coming from the...
Its between your transmission and the big gear connected to your engine.
I would take off the transmission as a whole from the truck, spin the spur gear and see if the rotation rotates the axles who leads out into the rest of the drive train. If it doesn't or feels weird...
Now this sounds like a handfull, had my share of problems with my revo but going to get home and have a look at mine before I leave suggestions on what to check since its been a while I ran it. All...
Killed my front left suspension arm and crocked the
steel pushbar, but all in all was a giving day on the track.
Tried my new gearing which was from 14/40 to 16/38,
sure sacrified a lil torque...
Or you could get a wing which is a bit more stylish ;-)
The nut who holds the slipper clutch got a habit to come loose so its a good idea to check it once in a while :-)
All this talk made me...
You know you are an rc addict when. . .
You are your LHS customer support for people who got the same trucks as yourself because you've been through nearly everything that can possibly happen with...
Checked and adjusted the slipper clutch?
