I raced at Nuclear last year - in my opinion - the best combo I found was proline LPR bow-ties in the back and crime fighters in the front from my Revo PE. When I get back out there this year, I'll...
unfortunately that's not the ROAR nationals.....
Remember if you're in the MD/VA/DE/PA area, Nuclear R/C in Parkton, MD has it's first series race on April 26th. We usually have a pretty solid MT turn out with several of the guys in the A main at...
Nuclear R/C (www.nuclear-rc.com) in Maryland has its first race of the season on April 26th. We've been working on the track and made some key changes from those shown on the website (pics and video...
This is the MT A-main from a few weeks ago at Awesome R/C in VA. My favorite part is at the 7:08 mark - Pro Twister Mods 3.3 doing woooooooork. Haha.

Personally, if you're looking at prolines, I would go with bowties in the back and CFs in the front (for side bite). I ran bowties up front this weekend and it pushed pretty badly as they only have...
Yes the TiN ones - first one the shaft snapped and the rod end was busted. I replaced the rod end with aluminum ones and now it was just the shaft that broke.
Thanks. The first time I broke one though it was box stock from the factory so I hadn't had a chance to mix up the shafts.
I absolutely love this truck, but this is really getting frustrating.
I need some help here. I've broken a rear shock shaft in the last two A mains (still managed to finish 2nd and 1st:D ). I know the bashers out there are jumping waaaaaay harder than me on the track...
Anybody?? Sorry to bump the post, but looking to order today for a race this weekend... thanks.
I've seen a few variations of kits to mount the throttle servo in the unused steering slot (when running a single steering servo), but wondered which one you guys recommend?
Also, I'm running an...
I live in DC. Awesome is a good track but it's kinda small. I usually race at NRC near baltimore (www.nuclear-rc.com) It takes me exactly 1hr door to door on race days.
Three Nuclear R/C (www.nuclear-rc.com) racers in the a-main.... pretty sweet!! Nice job guys. Hopefully I'll be able to make it next year.
Man, that stinks. Nothing in MD or VA. So no other national MT comps now that ROAR dropped us like a bad habit?
Great - thanks.
Quick question - what are the major national MT competitions and how do you get in? I saw that the ROAR nats are in IL this year - do you have to qualify through regionals or can anybody go? Are...
Thanks! The PE body went off to Looped designs for a union jack austin powers style "shag-uar" paint scheme! Can't miss that on the track!
Here is my revo PE. My first really attempt at painting a body too. It's pretty simple but easy to see on the track.

As the soon-to-be NRC MT King for the 2009 season (we all know it's gonna happen - it's just a matter of time), I hereby order you to give me your CD set up!
Remember that time when you got...
Great work guys! I have a MMM 2200kv sitting around that I've been trying to decide between putting in an revo e-conversion that I got on a trade or a caster fusion pro buggy that was specifically...
Thanks guys for all the responses - does anybody know what effect taking the center diff out has on gearing calculations? I've been trying to get a better idea on how those are calculated but ended...
I think the general consensus is that they are junk. Here is a video review of them an explanation as to why they aren't effective with small two stroke r/c engines.

Euphoria - I've been having the same problem with my brand new PE. Not having a tuned ear, I couldn't tell if it was hitting second gear or not, but was not getting any top end speed. It would be...
Washington, DC - closest tracks are about 1hr 15 minutes away. Best 1hr 15 minute drive EVER. Haha.
