slash 4x4 VXL
Mostly stock. Has red STRC shock caps, titanium shock shafts in the rear, blue and red losi springs, integy motor fan.
1 set of 4 proline suburbs (MC) on proline...
Ill take the sway bar kit if it falls through.
This is what I use for normal short course stuff, its really good. For MT type stuff, I put the 2.8's on it, and use 2.5" blue springs in the front as well.
I run the dual fans plugged into my receiver, no problems at all.
This sounds cool actually, do you have any pics?
I've seen people use the blue jato shock covers.
Haha, that's sweet. Nice job.
I picked up a traxxas 6 cell 1700mah powercell for $10 off ebay and it worked all day. Not sure what mike is talking about.
Your logic seems legit to me. Go for it.
Yeah, I run the blue ones. Huge improvement, they hold better than anything I've used before.
They in fact grab SO well that I sometimes worry about the damage they're doing to the wheel. We shall...
I picked up a dual fan heatsink from integy (yeah yeah, I know), and it dropped my motor temp SIGNIFICANTLY. 20°+
2.8 talons on your slash will cause it to go all over the place on pavement. Mine iceskates like crazy.
Keep the talons on loose dirt and grass.
I do want to check out the traxxas bead Badlands...
You have a pm
HD slipper clutch. Excellent, cheap upgrade.
Its more cost effective for them to use 2 servos that they already mass produce, than to produce a higher torque servo just for this purpose.
Guys, I really appreciate the help. Here's an update...
Took the engine out completely, replaced the carb with the one off my 2.5r (this one is almost brand new)....did a full air leak check,...
What lcg is that?
Revo was my first RC ever, it wasn't that bad. YouTube is your friend.
$25 shipped, ill throw the mount in for free. That's better than half off, wih a free header and free motor mount.
Thanks for the tip on the pipe, man. Never really felt good about that thing. Ordered a DC resonator and header today, we'll see if it fixes the problem.
I just got a 3.3 with very little runtine on it (about a quart). It runs very well, pulls the wheels up with ease, ect...the problem I'm having is with the idle. It idles very high. No. Matter....
