3 mph isn't much of a difference, in fact tire ballooning or body style could make that much difference at higher speeds.
Whatever system you choose I would check into customer support.

Okee dokee!!!
He was asking about the Havoc Pro...... Capable of up to 400 amps if I read correctly.... Not 50 amps.
I have one and love it....Actually two, one in wifes car as well.
But then again i dont...
Man that thing must be crazy fast....hehehe
Got mine and the wifes geared 16/54 on 2s, and the only reason I went that fast was to keep the wife happy!!!!
I had her geared at 14/54 and after a...
Not to mention the fender to fender and slight bumping that can happen while racing. I love that part too. Although we always try to keep it clean we still bump each other around a bit and it is fun...
So there are actually 3 atm, huh??
Just teasing you...hehe
So what you are saying is......
The 2753x is exactly the same as the 4x4 slash stub axles?
I thought the holes for the ujoints were different sizes?
Ahhh asheck, once again you do look at the big picture,,hehe
Good job.
And good luck SGT!
Hey asheck, werent you refering people to the 9xl motor to use with the VXL?
I thought I read a couple responses that it worked pretty good?
Iam using the Novak HV 4.5 with the Novak Havoc Pro, and...
Rear axle stubs bend and break easily. The slipper assy has a plastic bushing and a bearing that get subject to failures. The VXL brushless system gets pretty warm running on 3 cell batteries.

Sounds like you LHS took good care of you. Along with Castle trying hard as well.
The warranty for the ESC is 1 year from original purchase.
Good to hear your back up and running!!!!
Have Fun!!!!
Hehe, I have two systems and they both failed before the warranty was out.
The first time I dealt with them was the worst experience I have ever had with any company period. And it took 6 1/2...
My wifes ERBE just did similair thing. Only took Castle 7 working days to get us a new exchange under warranty. Pretty quick on Castles part compared to about a year ago when it would take 6 1/2...
He is not referring to the Monster at all.
But rather the Mamba Max vs the Mamba Max pro.
OOOOhhh dude this could backfire soooo BAD! LOL
I cant get the transmitter out of my wifes hands. And she HAS to have MAX power to all vehicles.
I think she is addicted worse than me. We now have...
If I had to settle for two cars, it would be the 4x4 slash and my ERBE.
With the right batteries (above 5000mah) you can run for 40 to 45 minutes. And with ********* batteries at such good prices...
We will patiently await your confirmations...Woohoo!!
I am personally very interested in seeing what kind of temps and speeds are had with a 2 cell and stock gearing vs maybe a 18t pinion still on...
Post #20 is talking about the 4x4 one. The 4x2 one does not have any louvers.
Marksp, I have two HV systems in my Emaxx's and they have been some of the most reliable and trustworthy systems I own. Gear them right and your good. I did not use the 4.5 motors, but with 2s the...
The tool should have come with your car. U joint= ball joint= the little ball with the pins poking out.
The little tool allows you to spread apart where the little pins go into the horns of the half...
To make it really easy get the 1951 half shaft and the 2753x stub axle. No drilling, no dremeling! They slide right onto the original male half shaft. Not quite as strong, but it works pretty good...
The only ones I have seen being made leave a ridge in the front that would dig in a bit.
This one you made looks awsome with nice smooth along the skid area!
Good job!
Why do you want to upgrade? I thought you ran 3s with good temps and crazy power?
I am just curious as I am looking into it myself. Although I am finding running on a track with 3s and chassis...
I tried the fuel tube as a bump stop trick in mine and the wifes car this weekend. Bent them all up. It was a bash night at our local neighborhood track and we were running pretty hard. I am sure...
You can substitute with another axle for the time being. Read post #3 in this thread.
