And make sure you're on a 'high traction' surface.
Grass or street (depending).
My driveway doesn't give enough 'grab', but my street does.
Grass does well also.
If your tires 'spin' on a...
+3 on the Traxxas wheelie bar.
One word of caution.
If you plan on a high powered brushless system, remove it when bashing.
The Traxxas 'easy disconnect' is nice for this.
Only slightly ;)
Your 342 oz is per CENTIMETER, not inch.
A centimeter is 0.393701 inches (about).
Multiply your 342 by 0.393701 and you'll see that it's 134.65lbs/in.
So it will turn...
I'm using the same setup as ajb1205 and like it a lot.
HiTec 5955tg servo
Proline aluminum arm
Aluminum servo horn (has threads to accept the Traxxas screw)
HD servo spring
You can make one, but I'd just buy one.
They're cheap and most hobby shops have em in stock.
The 'single' end plugs into the receiver.
The 'Y' ends plug into each servo.
You can use the double mount in the meantime, can't you?
Wow, my dinner never gave me a darned thing.
You probably mean the DX3R.
It does not come with servos. The stock servos work well with it.
Plug both into the receiver & slave the AUX to the other input (mixer function).
How bout using some black 'grill' paint on that motor mount/heatsink (the silver one)?
Can get it at any hardware store.
The idea will only cost one ESC mount. ;)
30 amps (this particular website has a typo saying 20 amps)
Powering my duo for 2.5 months now,...
I would have heeded JasSki's warning.
20/62 gearing puts you in the 65-70 mph range on 6s.
It spins your motor at 59940 rpm's at 3.7v/cell.
My packs start out at 4.2v/cell, so fresh...
Sorry about your MMM man.
...wait a secend....
......where am I?
I just bought a Neu from ImpaktRC.com.
Check the links in the FAQ sticky at the top.
This is the second Neu I purchased from one of those vendors. I just checked each one every day or two, and...
With those batteries, a 1515 1Y or 2.5D.
You don't wanna spin a 1.5D (2700kv) that fast.
Pinions, check out the speed calculator after picking a motor.
I notice my Lipo's don't hit 3.7v/cell until depleted more than half way.
Sorry about your MMM man.
Fun, ain't it?
Those Stampedes have a higher center of gravity. So you gotta slow down a little more before turning (or you know what happens).
The Revo chassis' are all lower center of gravity, so they demand...
+1 on the FAQ links.
My first one was ordered from Offshoreelectrics.com
My second was from impaktrc.com
Both at times when people were stating they couldn't find em anywhere.
Seriously, tires are full of trade-offs.
Great grip / wear fast or tear
Durable / less grip
Wider / more grip & more weight
light / less grip & weight
There are instructions to break in the original Titans.
Other than that, shinguards when first trying out a nice brushless system.
I'm at 8.85 lbs. without batteries.
10.57 lbs. with 2 x 2s2p Maxamps 8000mah batteries.
Single Neu 1515 with the Talons.
(Wheel/Tire combos can make a big difference.)
Stock is 9.44 lbs....
Wouldn't a sand setup work also?
I think that setup would be fantastic.
