I haven't had that happen but I did notice the wires were quite stiff. I had to cut them up and replace the bullet connectors so on the next ones I'll probably just replace the wires entirely.

haha, that is awesome!
I own both motors and the Tacon is just as good as the Velineon. I've ran the Tacon in my Slash with a Hobbywing ESC for the last 4 months and I've ran the Velineon motor and ESC in my Blitz for 6+...
CSS Slash LCG Chassis
I found these while looking at batteries today on the SPC website and I was wondering if anyone has used these or seen them in action?
hmm..
Novak Havoc / 13.5ss
3 new lipo's
and Friday I bought a HPI Baja 5t.
So about $1500 :(
I had that issue with my Slash and it ended up being the radio. I swapped in a different radio and it quit.
Those are great. Thanks for the tip!
Try RPM dual-rate pistons. Great rebound.
Preload clips don't do much more than raise the ride height. Get some stiffer springs (AE, Losi) and try a higher weight shock oil with 1 or 2 hole pistons.
For me, I've found it that the more flat the tire (ie new BFG's), the better they work on hard packed dusty tracks. Bow-ties are a more rounded tire and they get the least amount of traction on dusty...
 So that's why my truck is so slow now!
Where at in MS? I'm in Hattiesburg and our LHS is horrible :/
I think someone should do a full out Dakar/Repsol theme, similar to the picture Tom posted. I think it would look great with the bright colors and tons of scale features. It would be even better to...
Great pictures tm250! That body came on my last Slash :D
+1. Bowties, Calibers and Goosebumps are great tires. Badlands are probably better for a loamy track but they seem to be too big in my opinion. Everytime I see badlands (except on 1/8 buggy wheels,...
I would start at 13 or 14 and move up accordingly. 18t would probably be the max with 86t - 90t spur.
Sick track Riptide!
Out Of Sight: Do you have an issue with bottoming out or getting bad body rub? I like your setup, it looks nice and low :D Do you use any shock pre-load?
Those are nice radios, especially for the price! TX, RX and servo all for $99. I've got one ordered at my LHS that I need to go pick up.
That's awesome! There's a few descent hobby shops and tracks in Jackson these days. As much as Hattiesburg has grown in the past few years we still do not have any tracks. Needless to say, I do most...
Dude, I can't believe a company representative would use grammar like that in an email relating to THE COMPANY. I could see if it was an email from one friend to the other but not to a random...
I gotta say Momo, you are a master of your craft. Witchcraft, that is :fear: Haha, seriously though, you put together some amazing paint jobs. I've seen several others you've done and I liek 'em....
My Titan has been holding up great but I take care of mine as well. I alway clean it out and oil it good. I have a few brushless setups (for my Blitz :P) but I keep my trusty ol' Slash stock. I...
Great tip!
I picked up a DTX 5000mAh and two Pro-Match 5000mAh for stock racing because we can't use LiPo batteries. I love the batteries, about 20 good minutes of racing and I think the weight helps keep the...
