you have to twist off the ring with the 2 alignment pins on it,if you spin it and work at it ,it will come off.
I have a 3.3 on my FLM chassis.
that is a good gun can't go wrong with an IWATA.
Not to burst your bubble, but when I got my first 3.3 I tried to use revo shafts ,and I twisted them in about 4 hours of running.
The pins twisted in the shaft.
Why not get a traxxas one????
What does the plug look like? Is the electrode broken or is it just black.
I like my plastic spur, they designed the spur to fail if it needs to,but you have to have the mesh set correctly, also you...
RPM did look into bulks, but they found it was not much better than stock ones so why spend the money to tool up to make them.
I think I saw an article about it on RCU.
If you don't race on a very high level I would stay with the big bores.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with big bores, when you get them tuned right.
IF you can find one a Fantom would be a good best of both worlds pipe.
I boil mine to get the tires off ,I glue them with C/A glue ,and to do it right you need to take your time, and massage the foam to get the lumps out.
I bet to boil remove ,and put a new tire on...
if you treat it nice it will last about 6 gallons, anything more than that is a bonus IMO.
I have a 3.3 that has 15 gallons on it,and I think it is going to get re pinched.
I have seen engines replaced by them, but if they see you were over revving the engine,or running lean they might not replace it.
Traxxas has been more than lenient on replacing 3.3 engines IMO.
you need to make the short arm longer.
Because the cut off voltage is like 4.7 volts ,and batteries are 4.8 volts in a few seconds with some draw.
So,I would not leave it to fate. It only takes a few seconds to do after run,and you know for sure that there is no methanol left in the engine.
I don't believe for one second that you can get away without after run oil with any fuel.
Yes,anything with the 2.4 ghz system would be a good upgrade.
I have raced with my wheels for 3 seasons now off road.
They are TI 22 Beadlock wheels I have them also.
You can get them on ebay.
You don't need aluminum cases IMO I have aluminum cups with 3mm screws.
and they have 12 gallons on them ,and they still look new,I pack them with grease every 2 gallons.
The 2.5 R is the same truck as the 3.3 just a different motor,so get the 2.5R and when you need a motor you can erp the 2.5 for a 3.3,and you will have a 3.3.
I would at least go with the foc because it will make it perform better.
I would recommend loosing the Optidrive ,and going FOC then get a failsafe. The OPTI eats batteries, and I am not sure it does anything for radio interference.
I thought I would hate loosing reverse...
I just bought one to take to the track ,it was a 1 gallon it came with a crown stapler @ lowes for $50.00 can't beat that with a stick,I think it was a fathers day thing so get to it soon..
