Can you get some video for us? I've moved my tabs to the inner holes and like the results:thumbup:
Thank you. It did seem stable but I'm still going to put the tabs back in the outer holes and try a few speed runs and then move them back to the inner holes and see what the difference is. Did you...
I'd like to know what kind of results you get from using two sets of trim tabs.... hasn't someone mentioned doing or wanting to do this already? Keep us posted! I may just have to put the rain gear...
I'm not convinced that it has helped. I was still getting chine if I "punched it" but if you slowing get to speed it seemed fine. When I get the chance to run it again I'll do it with the trim tabs...
I just moved my trim tabs last week and used the flashlight method and it works great. Just shine the light in the hull and look for the holes. I think I used a 1/8th bit and only let the bit turn...
I'm going to move the trim tabs back and try it again to see if I can notice/see a difference. I ran it with this set up yesterday and got 45.5mph on 6s. No over heating but things were very warm...
Thanks dag-nabit
The extensions are to help protect the boat when transporting it in the back of the car and it makes it very stable. I'm still thinking of a way to add some kind of...
Thanks for posting this dag....I just put one together today for under $5.00:thumbup: I'll post picks later.
Anyone else have stands or other homemade carrying devices ?

I'm guessing it was the radio because they gave me a new one. Is yours running OK after your loss of control ?
Thanks DKO, the customer service dept. is great and has always been to me. I didn't get a chance to test out the boat.... I had to program the radio, set up the boat and the weather wasn't the best,...
IT'S BACK!!!! And with a new hull!! There must have been a problem with the radio because they replaced it with a new one. They also replaced the rudder, must not have liked my "hack job"...
Trying out a larger Spur gear. I was using an 86t, a little too much for the esc, so I'm using a 90t Spur and 19t pinion. Runs nice and cool

It's going in to be looked at :(( The owner of Maximus(LHS) I go to had a call tag sent to him so I wouldn't have to pay for the shipping  Customer Service at Traxxas was great!! Jason...
Thanks Ken! This is at my place. It's a private road and several of the homes are summer homes so we hardly see any vehicles, makes for a great place to play. When the snow is gone we take the cart...
Thanks guys! I'm going to call Traxxas asap to see what they say about it. As far as I know the only damage is to the hull but I'm not sure I would feel confident using that receiver again. Time will...
It looked that way. Just took off. All I could see was the roostertail and then a very loud SMACK!!!! It ran for a few more seconds and then stopped.
Had a beautiful day her in NH... 60+ and sunny:cool: This is the second time the boat has been in the water. I've done the cooling mods;water jacket, 1/8th ID hose, and opened up the rudder pick up...
My Daughter and I had a chance to play today. She got to drive the cart with the new 6" lift and 23" tires and I got a chance to drive my Stampede.

Proline makes a Chevy C-10 body that looks good... can't find the pic of mine. The lights and 9v are both on the body. I'll have to find the pictures for you tomorrow.
The body is from Proline for an E-Max but it fits because I extended my stock chassis by 2". The lights run off a 9v battery and I got them off e-bay. The actual light bezels are from Proline as...
I think RPM sells a kit or you could make your own. Here's what I came up with;

Thanks snowfighter:) I've been busy with.... life. Not much time for the RC's lately and was a little turned off by the site because of a certain moderator who sent me a message that "rubbed" me the...
The stock rear body mount has three "mounting holes" for the screws to go into. You can put the screws in the top two holes so that the body mount is at it's lowest. The "stub" on your body mount is...
