You work for them or something?
haha, no worries. I am glad you liked the sway bars! Makes the thing drivable at Frank's haha
Could that bashing buddy be me!?! :)
Yep, doesn't take much time. Just follow the directions and you are set! Great product which really helps the performance of this truck
Haven't raced yet, but driven at my track loads.. Tires with nice bite help out a lot. Crimefighters should be perfect. As for the gearing.. depends on the size of the track. At my track (1/8th...
I just stay with stock.. have only tweaked two after many hours of runs. I picked up a set of brand new stockers for 20 bucks off ebay. Can't beat that!
Btw, I have practiced at my track with and without sway bars.. huge difference in handling. Honestly, they are the best upgrade I have done!
Tekno's are great! Just make sure to loctite the little grubs screws.
Ya, I couldn't remember. I was hoping thats the case and not something new due to the stripped spur :/
Hey,
So, I just replaced a spur gear and noticed that my MMM motor has a bit of play on the shaft. I would say its about 1mm or so, going in and out along the shaft direction. I also noticed a bit...
Get the tekno sway bars! huge improvement over stock. I run bowties LPR or JConcepts DDs on half inch, half ups Ruluxes. I also run 60wt all around with Variable damping kit. No center diff, but they...
Hmm.. I haven't heard about the Kershaw chassis. Does anyone run it? I wonder if it actually helps at the track at all.
Ya, I thought about the single servo, but I really don't want to spend much more on my erbe. I like it how it is, and the stock servos aren't that bad.
I think that I will just get a y-harness....
I 2nd that. The 8k's have a ton of punch and seem to last forever. They fit quite well too. Only complaint is that they are a tad bit heavy.. but still not too bad
Hey guys and gals,
I just got a futaba 3pm for a fairly decent price because I will be running a few cars for now. Anyways, I noticed that the traxxas and futaba receivers are slightly different....
You can find a ton on ebay. I am not sure if they will come by this weekend though.. you could always charge from your car battery until you get a ps..
Yeah.. it looks like it could work with a little dremeling, but I am just going to have a to drive a bit farther tomorrow to pick up some erevo bulks.
thats what it looks like.. they look like they would fit but there would be some play in the diffs
So.. I just went to my hobby store to pick up a set of rear bulkheads, and I just now realized that they gave me the summit rear bulkheads  THey look slightly different. Does anyone know if they...
I just installed these on my erbe, and boy are they beefy! They are pretty solid feeling axle carriers and hopefully should alleviate most of the slop.
Anyways, for those who run these, what tool...
Thanks for all the advice guys..
So, after some thinking and running at a local backyard track yesterday where there were a few awesome RC8e and 8ight-es, I decided to keep the e-revo. I am...
I could be wrong.. but are your motor wires switched? I am not sure if that would do it on a Brushless motor because there are three.. Anyone?
Yep, it jumps very well. Of course, you can break things, but usually that's from crashing or landing badly. If you tend to bash and jump a lot, I would recommend RPM arms all around. I broke 3...
Ya, that's what I have gathered so far. I guess I am wondering if it's worth it to try and pursue this route.. or just find a nice roller on ebay and go from there.
Have you raced against truggies...
Ok,
So I have asked a few of you guys this before (thank you 8ight-e and russ350r) , but I thought that I would get thread out there to hear some more opinions/experiences.
Here is my scenario:...
