Thanks Jimmie. I didn't know they did make changes to the locker parts. I never had a problem with mine. Was it a significant change? And very true, it would be easy to just update if needed.
I bought a summit when they first came out and absolutely loved it! Best truck ever, but circumstances caused me to regretably sell it and I'm looking to buy another one. How often does Traxxas do...
Wow! That is amazing. It looks really heavy the way it rides. Seems realistic. Did you have to beef up the suspension?
Really? Nobody? Is it time to move?
Hey guys. I live in Georgia Vt. Anyone around? I know there's a private track up in east fairfield, but don't know if just anyone can use it. Would love to do some racing with someone. Also getting...
What would the tune have to do with it? It idles well, winds up well, and shifts up perfectly. It just gets stuck in second. What actually makes it shift; rpms?
I see a lot of people have problems with getting their tranny to shift up , but I'm having problems getting it to shift back down. Anyone else have this issue? I did adjust my shift point some so...
My green light stopped working the first day, but at least it's not as big of a problem. They told me to send it in.
Green is lipo mode. I think your red flashing is low battery. When you change to NIMH, it should be solid red, not green.
Has anyone found the 2.4 in stock anywhere? Tis the season and the wait sucks.
I really don't believe there's anyway one of these wheels are going to bend. I made them super rugged so they're indestructable unless it were to get run over by a real truck. My trade off is...
I'd love to work with Traxxas on there next special edition. That would be awesome! I'll have some on ebay soon.
Thanks. They don't feel that heavy, but the wheel itself is at least double the weight of plastic. Once I get them anodized I'll test them out and see how it affects performance.

Is there a way to just upload a jpeg onto the message board?
Here's the wheels before anodize. What do you think?

Thanks for the link Mr Venom. Hadn't seen those. I'm starting with a glue on design and they look a lot more like real wheels. A lot beefier too. You're not going to bend one, so my only concern...
Thanks 02hawk. So for you it's the money. They are expensive to make. The material and anodize alone are $8 a wheel for a 3.8" wheel. I'll post some photos when they're done. My thing is that I...
Just curious what kind of interest there is out there for aftermarket wheels? I don't see any out there so I'm making some in my shop and just wondered how everyone feels about them; does anyone...
