Those Venoms won't fit - Dimensions: 135x42.4x37.6mm (5"x1.7"x1.5") too tall at 37.6mm. 30mm maximum for the battery compartments, and that's really tight.
Front and rear centre drive shaft assembly is part number 5650, but if you have a spare axle driveshaft (5451X) you can use the long part of that for the centre rear driveshaft. Just cut the blue...
From your thread yesterday
Wow, you must be psychic, or really unlucky, you joined the forum yesterday to ask if these lipos would fry your MMM and today your MMM is smoked:fear:
What...
Have you checked pillow balls aren't too tight? just one of the front ones on my Erbe was a bit tight and caused the steering to not return to the centre position. It wasn't too bad when off the...
First try with the keychain camera ,mounted (duct tape) on ERBE bonnet with tape over microphone. Decent quality footage for the price (£11) considering the rough terrain. Might be better suited to...
EDIT : didn't see the post where the ESC was smoking- that's not good.
Have you tried disconnecting one servo at a time? seems odd the ESC red light is dim.
Other things worth checking, you've probably tried these but just to rule them out
-check throttle trim set to...
Here's the how to from the Traxxas knowledge base, it's for the Nitro Revo but mostly the same, 17mm hub adapters aren't shown. http://www.traxxas.com/PDF-Library/5451INST_Driveshaft-web.pdf
Thanks for the photos, they look a bit more compact than TRX connectors.I'm going to give them a try when they are back in stock.
Made a little snow jacket for ERBE out of Tyvek material for wet weather/snow. Just a first attempt held together with tape, I'll use Velcro for the next one. Only issue so far is with ESC temp...
How are those 2650-40C batteries performing? I just ordered 4 yesterday. I was interested in the XT60 plugs too but they are out of stock, they look like they would make a neater parallel wiring...
Screw pins go all the way through the axle.
Part number 5353 if you want 4 spare nuts. I got a set of hubs/nuts from a new parted out ERBE and they had a blob of threadlock on them, not sure if the seperate hub/nut set from Taxxas now come...
Any time I've had a clicking from the rear diff it has been either the ring gear has a tooth or two missing, or the inner bearing on the pinion shaft has failed and one or more of its little balls...
That looks a better solution than my attempt today, still kept the electrics dry after taping around with electrical tape, not pretty but it worked.

I had the DeWalt motor/evx2 before brushless and found the braking to be poor as well, I was using stock radio at the time.
Finally found how to access the brake % on the second screen of DX3s,...
What ESC are you using, the EVX-2 ? it sounds like it's maybe programmed in reverse.Does it brake correctly when going from reverse to forward?
Could be worth trying the REVERSE function on the...
Should have said first I'll try re-calibrating radio (full throttle/brake points) with ESC , instead of re-binding radio.
Same here, I'm having the same problem with my 4S, they seem to have suddenly lost their punch but also have around 3.8V when I take them out. This happened right after I updated the ESC with the...
For P2 pushrods you'll need the 5318X - http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXHFV8&P=M and re-use the blue spacers from your stock pushrods, or buy the red spacers- ...
Got a set of new shocks and springs taken from a new ERBE and they were orange and gold springs too. Looks like the latest ERBE's have gone up one rate on the springs.
In case anyone else was...
Looks familiar, I've broken the rear bulkhead 4 times now in exactly the same place as yours. There's a bit of a weak point there that could do with being beefed up a bit.
I made a parallel harness in 12AWG wire using 1 female Traxxas plug ( ESC) split into 2 male Traxxas plugs ( to batteries).
Has anyone tried these for 40C-5S (106Amps)? http://www.*********.com/*********/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=9949&Product_Name=*****_*********_2650mAh_5S1P_40C_
The now discontinued ***** 5S...
