No, I don't know what type of tires and wheels those are. But here's a look at my on road Rusty.http://s20.photobucket.com/albums/b205/jtrick8806/?action=view¤t=Picture186.jpg
Thanks Crent.
Greenrevoman, my optidrive was kicking into failsafe mode randomly. I determined that it was the optidrive because when I ran the truck without it there was no radio interference.
I do not have an aftermarket radio.
When I try to reprogram the Opti Drive it sets the throttle so that when I am in forward the throttle only opens about 70%. In reverse it is allowed to open 100%. I know it should be the other way...
Uh, alright. Am I missing something here?
The Revo is one awesome machine. Every time someone gets a new one, happy memories of my Revo pop into my head. Have fun with it!
Thanks guys, its all very helpful. I'm not looking to get into this too seriously because I want to be able to head back onto the dirt without changing too much stuff around. I'll probably get a...
Ok, thanks AiRevo.
Now I have another question. I have noticed that my brakes don't seem to be working as well as they used to. What can I do about this? The truck is only a couple months old...
Thanks! Are the P3 rockers the extra ones that came with the truck?
My local hobby shop has a road course set up in their parking lot. Most of the racing is touring cars but they have a division for monster trucks. I've never done any kind of racing before but I...
I've got a 3.3 in my Rustler. I run it really hard and I haven't broken the plastic yokes yet. I hope this continues to be true. I really don't want to spend 20 dollars on the steel ones.
Well I just broke it in today, and had some fun after that. This thing is scary fast!!! I don't know how fast for sure, but I would guess it is going somewhere around 60 mph. Thats too fast to...
A lot of companies do stuff like this. I am a huge roller coaster fan and I have followed the construction of Cedar Point's new roller coaster since it began. For the first several months of...
We don't know what it is. There's a huge thread about it in the alley.
Haha, yep, I thought about getting a 4-tec, but it was cheaper for me to do this.
Well I know everyone is distracted by the spinning V right now but I'd like to share some pictures of my Rustler. I've had this Rusty for several years now and it has been a good truck. I have used...
I just read the whole thread from start to finish.... I'm really sorry I didn't do something more productive with my time now.
In these pictures I've already reattached the drive shaft. The yoke on the differential had torn off.

Are you saying that you put grease in your clutch? If so clean it out. Grease on a clutch is a bad thing. It won't be able to grab with grease on it.
I love yellow Revos.

Have fun, and watch out for mailboxes. Revos and mailboxes don't mix well.
Normally I would recommend the Nitro Rustler for a beginner because it is a simple, tough truck. But since you have experience with electrics you should be just fine starting with the Revo. I...
The Nitro Rustler isn't a truggy. Traxxas doesn't make a truggy so you'd have to go with another brand if you want a truggy.
The Nitro Rustler is a stadium truck, and it is worth every penny. ...
Put a zip tie on it. I tried to go without it also, but you really do need it.
My opinion may be biased since I own a Rusty and not a Jato, but go with a Rusty. It's an awesome truck. It will do wheelies but they are easily controlled by letting off the throttle slightly. Or...
