if you don't have bearings in the carriers and are still running on the bushings you will want to change those out.

I am running the 5700 and it is all default except I bumped up the braking a little (couldn't stop) 23/86 gearing and stock tires on 2s. this thing is going pretty fast

by the way I have had good service out of the brushed titan. regular maintenance and I also geared it 16/86 to take a little pressure off of that motor(they are kids).good luck in your choice.
