i have a traxxas 1/16 slash 4x4. i use a duratrax dtx 1600. can i also use a 9.6v dtx 5000. what will happen.

i just play around my yard. sometimes i go to a track when it is nice. but i mostly bash it and flip alot. i was thinking of trying to make it a crawler if i could.

i have heard that if you have a traxxas motor they will send a new one for free and if you wanted to upgrade it all you have to do is send in your stuff and pay alittle bit for a upgrade. not sure...

what size lipo would i need i have a slash 4x4 1/16

if i get a lipo should i get a cooling fan for the battery

i would like to make the jump to lipo but the cost and over heating i think is a problem and dont want it to catch fire.

i think i would have cried lol
