that way if you use 3s lipo the you wont get the pizza cuter mod. I used them they are great and they last...

1. I think The 1/10 scale motor will not be enough, this car is closer to a 1/8.
2. Chances is thats they will fit, but chances are that the slash 4x4 are better.

Don't do this setup, the fun is at 3s and your stock motor would not hold to 3s cells. Do yourself a favor and get the MM monster with a 2200 motor. you would be happy. Stock engine would die soon...
