Lets say i have fm now.
The electrics 'behind the crystals' are for fm OR am only?
Just for beeing sure, i did not ment:
fm in trasmitter and am in receiver! (I know both must have same band...
Hi, i know little about transmitter/receivers.
If i have a pair of crystals for receiver and transmitter (they do physically fit) but they are AM instead of fm
(or fm instead of am, anyway...
I hope it is finaly a BL truck, 4wd, cardan, not belts.
Pricewise, if they make/order enough esc's, alu.shocks etc. it is cheaper for them to make.
They even may want to get in to this market and...
Ok you 2 thanx for the swift replyes!
If i have my lipo set (charger, 2s lipo 5000 mah, lvc) i suddenly ask myself, and you all here now, what about the receiver?
I have a brushless esc and motor, lrp x11, and drive it with a 4000...
Okay all, it is finally clear to me, thanks for all the replys!!
My esc does not have lvc, so i need such a in-between esc and receiver cut off.
I have decided, i will go LIPO on my slash.
Lipo charger, 220v with built in balancer and 2 cells lipo's (not 3)
But i keep reading on voltage protection. IN car i mean.
So how is that done?...
First hit i had with the slash after 20 runs or so was BINGO, broken of a caster block, the steel pole was harder then the slash's front part.
So i went looking for replacement, only -1- shop (i...

Anyway, let's all GPS our cars and name the setup! :-)
I use a LRP x11 7.5t BL sensored (9 wires) and with a simple 6 cell nimh pack i hit 47.1 in less then 20 meters with 17t pinion and 90t spur....

You all did fill in the total motor rpm's (i.e. 7,2 x 6500 = 46800) , tire diameter (2.2 inch or more/less) , 6 cell (or more) lipo OR nimh, etc.?
Found a great site for this !!

This is 1 great site i found !!
It measures given knowns in to theoretical speeds !!
my calculated setup & speed
so with the standard 12t (24.000 rpm?) , the wheels make 8824 rpm
with 2.2 inch wheels that is 6,9 inch per rotation
6,9 times 8824 = 60806 inches per minute
x 60 = 3648360 inches per hour...

What should one fill in there for the slash, at:
Transmission Gear Ratio ??
Differential Gear Ratio ??
1 mile = 1609,344 meter
1 kilometer = 0,621371 mile
http://nl.wikibooks.org/wiki/Omrekenen_van_eenheden/Lengte
Bit weird to me, because 16 and 90 is less resistance then 18 and 86..
I have the 7,5t on 17 / 90 and is i guess about 45 celsius.
What brand of brushless motor are yours and friends?
Same...
Where does this come from: mph = .00297432 ??
Aint this simpler, i.e. my slash ? :
Primary: (spur / pinion) 90 / 17 = 5.294
Internal: (diff / center) = 2.72
FINAL DRIVE RATIO 5.294 x 2.72 =...
Hi dutch, another dutch here :-)
I use a LRP 7,5 t with 9 wires (programmable, reacts like a brushed motor)
With low windings and high rpm, the topspeed is great, and still spinning starts, great...
Should that cahrger work on 110 / 220 v wallsockets WITHOUT ground wire (so 2 wires only) ??
The better the mesh the quieter it is.
Also an aftermarket aluminium 17 t 'silencer pinion' was notacibly quieter.
The the grease/oil used on gears will do some silencing i gues.
The more space...
From my opening post:
I top it of with a peace tape.
And i forgot (due to taking to much time for dis- and assemblage) to grease the gears, did not want to do that all over again just after...
I.m.o. you should not have...
