So as long as they say 40 series they'll work?
I wonder how wrong it would look with a pantera body.

Maybe I'll get the road rage tires on the axial wheels with a car body as a road option. Woudl be cool to have like a 69 mustang body with the side exhaust.
...
Well I lucked out finally. You're right about the bead, traxxas beads around fitted around the outside pushed in, and not the regular way on the inside of the wheel.
But I bought gemini wheels...
That sucks.
Its hard enough trying to match the sizes, how does anyone get the beads right. Even A Main hobbies couldn't tell me.
Think I'll just glue them and hope for the best.

So I got my wheels and tires, but sort of screwed up. If all the worry about th diameters not matching up, I forgot to check the bead width, and the sport traxx's are a little narrow then these wide...
I was frustrated with my .15 but later relized how critical the break in is. I don't think I ran the full 5 tanks through.
How much weight is that?
I personally like the idea of having the on-board temp gauge for quick reference full time, so I ordered one. I figure I can mount it near the receiver box and view it through the front fender.
Reamer works awesome for lights.
Looks good. I have the light package on my merv, one set in the fogs, headlights, wheelwells.
I gave in and bought the 3.8" 8 spoke with sport traxx tires. I'll be easy going on it and mostly dirt driving anyways.
Sorry, for some reason I thought they were the same size because they're both called 'wicked retro wheel'.
I think it comes down to the 5 spoke using the HPI agressor 3.5", and the 8 spoke using...
Ya but the wheels I want aren't 3.8.
Found some HPI Agressors,

.Outer Diameter: 5.5" (140mm) Inner Diameter: 2.9" (73mm) Width: 2.6" (66.5)
Very close.
Anyone runs...
Wheels:
SPECS: Width: 2.18" (55.3mm)
Diameter: O.D. 35.1" (89.3mm)
I.D. 3.0" (76mm)
edit: nope, won't work.
I think I found the tires I want. It looks like the sport traxx ID's are 3.5". Will they fit the axial then?

Outer Diameter: 5.75...
I think that gives it the tie-breaker. Actually I think they do look better with the curved spokes.
Or 5 spoke.

I'm stuck between the 8 spoke or 5 spoke wheels. And need to find tires for them.

I have some 14mm, 3.8" gemini wheels, which are awesome, but between the larger diameter, positive offset, larger width, and short tmaxx .15 control arms, they get really close to the fenders.
I can't seem to find the wheel selection.
Sorry, I meant to say 14mm hex, 3.5" diameter wheel, not 35mm.
Know what kind of tires these are? Would they work good for dirt track?

I meant negative offset as in not the positive offset thats flush with the outside of the wheel, even though most are close anyways.
