Just curious sounds like you are running the Stock Velinion Brushless right?
Pre-ordered from my LHS shop the morning the news was released as I had to change my order from RTR to PE. Got it on the 4th.
Also why switch out the stock servo? For racing I would think it has plenty of torque to turn this Slash.
Let us know how the Losi shocks work. Might be a nice alternative.
Ok So I put both Washers in and took one out and it is better no shuttering when rolling freely, but when I push hard on the rear section and flex the rear diff connection into the center diff it...
Its not the mesh. I have the pinion completely off the spur and it's still doing it. I have a call into traxxas and they are calling me back with one of the engineering. It's hanging on something...
Ok. So I just need to realign the spur and Pinion. Makes sense.
So I installed the center diff and when rolling it now back or forth it's not smooth like it was when it had the slipper clutch. It studders like my 1/8th scale brushless buggy. Is that the way it is...
Great Info All. Keep it coming if you got it. :) Thanks.
I have heard that the new Slash will use the Revo front and rear diff. What other parts are common in the 2? Just curious as I don't have a revo anymore but have a boatload of parts left over.
Funny I was going to go race a new SC 2wd MOD class next year, but not anymore since this is out. I will get this to race instead.
Only other 4wd SC truck I know of coming out is Ofna's buggy...
IN hunterdon the closest track to you is OUttacontrol in Langhorne, PA and also Jefferson, NJ which is Dirtrunners.
I got a new Revo 3.3 chassis. PM me if you still need it.
I have a new one if needed.
When you run it in water make sure you clean it out well. Use some alchol or engine cleaner soak it then air compress it off quickly. Then make sure you oil it.
Thanks but these titan motors are a drop in the well. Mine has been in salt water and lasted more then a year. So I am impressed with durabliltiy.
I apply light oil after any track time. So that isn't an issue.
Thanks for the help Hardcoretam.
If you are breaking RPM stuff. I would send it back and see what they say. Also sounds like you aren't going over your screws consistly to ensure they are tight.
Who is doing it? I just broke mine in underwater for 5 minutes on 2.0volts. 5 minutes long enough? I have heard 5 ,20, 60 minutes. What have other done?
Harry I have a brand new one off a new revo. LMK. You ready to race down there?
You have a PM.
Harry,
I was the one that sold Welderguy the Revo with the OS18tm. THe OS18tm is sold anymore as OS has replaced it with the OS21TM. Now you might be able to find a new OS18TM on ebay still. If...
If interested I can do this without the Engine and header.
