carb end cap

I have a stripped end cap(silver cap) on the carb that doesnt stay in. Instead of replacing the carb body, can i glue that end cap in place?

...Yes but it will not come out again, and if you have to replace that seal in there for some reason you won't be able to.
A new carb bod is only $13, it would be worth buying in my opinion.

Just put the cap in the carb and JB weld up the whole outside of the cap. Should work just fine sealing it and holding it in. I've never done it but I would if I had to.

I'm looking at one now. My thoughts is that the end is the result of boring out the hole where the LSN resides. Then bore the end a little more, thread it and install a cap with o-ring. The other one may be the same reason or a second position for the HSN. I've tried it and it fits but is not easily accessible in my Revo.

im gonna just JB Weld it. Just making sure i dont let it seep into hole.

The side cap is from drilling the hole for and installing the spray nozzle for the low speed needle.
The cap below the fuel inlet and high speed needle is there to relocate the needle if needed, like if the engine was laid down on its side.

Well i used some black silicone RV caulk and it didn;t work. Best to get a new carb body i think.
