dos any one no wat the best engines are for a traxxas t max 2.5 ?
OH, pretty sure this is a TMAXX question for the TMAXX forum. Personally I have 3 TMAXX's, all with TRX engines... And 2 of them have been regular racers...
Now, is the question the best "Drop in replacement" or are we asking about Big Block upgrades?
How far do you want to take it? The TMAXX is one of the more versatile RC's out there as far as power plants are concerned...
wat is the bast drop in replacements. and what are the big block options
All depends on how much $$$ you want to spend. A TRX 3.3 will drop right in with no changes at all, and costs around $140. There are engines such as the Picco .26 max or red dot that cost around $225, or the OS .21 TM which normally goes for $280. All of those are drop in's and won't take too much upgrades, maybe new driveshafts eventually. Then pretty much anything bigger than a .28 is considered a big block and will require a bit of extra parts or custom fab, like a monoblock and new engine mount.
thanks for help new to all this
Dynamite makes
A .19 replacement engine that will work with the stock engine mount and is compatible with the Ez start
All .28 and bigger engines (BB) will require a extended big block chassis

You mean .21 and bigger, not .28
The is.21 only requires a mount same with the picco max engine. Sorry I forgot about the in between engines like the sirio .27
