Revo engine

Well I'm about to replace my 3.3 in my 5309 that has the reverse taken out of it but I want to know what engines I should look at of stay away from? Also I've looked at the picco red dot, and the O.S .21tm??? And what do I need to do to the truck so it can handle the bigger engine

I believe the OS .21 is a direct replacement. The red dot would require the new era big block kit.

Ok would I need to do anything with the tranny??? I'm asking because I had to do it with my Tmaxx but It seems the revo trannys without reverse are better than the Tmaxx trannys???

Did you do the front only conversion on the tranny or did you just remove the servo? Either way the tranny should be fine.

I would suggest the center diff (which comes with the FOC kit) and the rear brake kit.

Any one have an opinion?? Or suggestion for an engine?????

I've really good things about the O.S 21tm. It has alot of power, easy to tune, and it fits in directly with any mods. :thumbup: Just my .02 cents. :)

I have the red dot and love it. You can even stick with rear exhaust if you want to. I tried the trinity, ths, and side pipe on mine and the side mount gives the best all around pipe.
