whats everyone running for an aftermarket spur and slipper ?
i personally use the traxxas stock ones the 83t 86t 90t spurs they are very durable i have had my slipper shoe break before it would strip
i`ve been runninng stock for some time and have had no issues , was just curious if this area could be improved on . i guess after rereading this i should leave it well enough alone .... but its the only thing stock
32p for me it has worked for a while and it is hard to strip the gears and no gear cover to mess with...it is easy to mesh also and will handle the abuse of brushless and 2s atleast i have not tried 3s yet but i hope to soon

i would say keep running the stock until it strips or breaks
Popular upgrades to slipper would be the Robinson Racing slipper and that is run with 32p gearing
Also you can get a shaft from STRC to use to run the Associated Slipper set up that has an enormous pad area
I use the STRC Lay Shaft and AE 32p gearing. I was chewing up 48p at the gravel pits so I tried 32 and I havent stripped one in over a year. I use 17/54 with my 3800kv motor.
