The rpm work great when new but mine after a few months ovaled out the large bearing seat and pops a pillow ball every few rides
HR knuckles and for bling, HR brake discs. Finally can run the 2S lipo I got the other day.

Just put off on order to make the Digger 4wd and a few bling items for the Merv. Strc motor mount and mounting plate. Anyone have any experience with these Strc parts?
1. replace stock shocks with newer reservoir shocks
2. replace stock axel hub/carriers with intergy axel hubs/carriers(4)
3. replace stock wing with newly dyed blue wing.
4. adding hpi 2135 rims dyed blue(4)
5. add pro-line speed hawg tires(4)
Went to put the 16 tooth pinion on to find out i ordered the wrong pitch. Ran down 3 cyles of 2-2s lipos . Watched a 2.2 mudslinger role about 40 ft away from my merv while it was still going. 3 wheeling lol. Went to pick up some temp nuts for wheels and managed to almost finish off the stock servo . If this had metal gears theyd be awesome. Mudslinger beadlocked and no foam much more control than i thought id have
Installed GPM push and tie rods.
and sling a u joint in the front driveshaft out of rang it went reverse to forward while on its lid
got 2 sets of stock shocks for my pre-spring rebuild.
Built my new shocks. Hr bodies and caps. Tin coated shafts, gpm ends, summit plungers and 60wt oil. They look so good!

Nice merv! what kind of motor and esc are you using? Oh, and I live near Baltimore and I don't know of any RC tracks or really open spaces to do speed runs. Could you help me out?

Will this thread ever end? I made my Revo a "Hybrid". It can convert from bashing, racing, gymkhana, rally and rallycross, short-course, and a camera (GoPro HERO2) rig all with just some suspension and tire changes.
Blew the front ring and pinion and the rear spyder gears rear diff still good lol
smashed into a pole and cracked the control arms.
Sat in front of it with it on the stand...trying to decide what bumpers and wheelie bar I want to run...and what other stuff I want to upgrade(there's not much left,lol)
So far the only things set in stone are adding the center diff,and getting a new wing mount(not sure if i want plastic or GA Aluminum) and a CF wing.
Also getting a Proline VW Bug body and painting it 2 tone red/black.

I live in Dundalk and usually drive to an undisclosed location to rip. I sometimes go to an indoor offroad track at Middle River Hobbies in Essex area. Motor is a trinity epic 4x4 short course 3750kv 550 paired with a Mamba Max Pro with 39/45 gears and either a pair of 2s or 3s in series for 4s offroad bash and 6s inroad speed running. Pm me if you'd like to get together sometime. I have a nitro buddy. I own both.
Added retro reflective red vinyl to the wing caps for dusk time speed running.

got a screw set from an ebay chop shop.
Lowered it with Rally shocks and installed the Ofna wing.
Stuck the Proline Speed Hawg tires on a set of spare wheels just to see what it looks like until my blakc HPI Split 5 wheels come in.
Decided on a different body(gonna put the Baja on the Summit)
Did a little bashing with my big daddy n final finish off that rear ring and pinion. Just after I got my RSpro back and wired to the new 4000kv Pro 4 motor. Tekin powered.

Oh...and on topic...today I ran a 3s through it...caught some sweet air quite a few times off of the double stacked skateboard ramp...then cleaned it up and replaced the right rear axle.lol

Gotcha...was just an observation. I love the blue rpm arms...I think im about to order a set for mine.
Who knows...might add the matching bumpers too and take my lighted Summit bumpers off.

Yesterday I set it up with the stock "high speed" gearing and 2 NiMHs in series for the first time. Today I stared at it contemplatively, wondering if the rear end not being attached to the chassis (for the second time in 2 weeks) was a message from higher powers. something along the lines, "Yes getting that much air was cool, however in the brickwall vs plastic car battle the wall always wins...dumb___".
Gettin ready for a rebuild and chassis/bulkhead replacement. Doesn't really go with my color scheme. But what the heck. At the rate I'm breaking chassis i'll be swapping it soon anyways! :rolleyes:

I bashed mine around the back yard. and did up a parts list of what im going to do to it after I finish building my t-maxx and e-maxx lol. btw that merv looks good with all that blue rpm stuff on it. I might make mine a green one since my maxx is all blue lol
After 2 snapped chassis. Aluminum front chassis brace has been installed.
