1/16 traxxas vs tc
a few guys at the club said these cars are just as fast as tc's? really?
what can you do to 1/16 chassis's to make them not roll so much
a few guys in the club want to race these as a class. is their a lot of hop ups?
would the 550 can be better then 380? it would be way too top heavy?is that so?
i didnt see a lot of mods could some one post a few links? thanks
are all the chassis the same or does the ken block come with extra stuff?
thanks for any info

All 1/16 chassis are the same.... pretty much all parts are the same, actually.
The only parts that really vary are bodies, body mounts, arms, axles, shocks, rockers, and rods.
The brushless 380 has plenty of power... in my opinion the big block makes it a little too top heavy.
The best way to stop the rolling is to show a little restraint in corners. But there is also a lot of tuning that can be done; adjustments and improvements, to make it easier to take corners faster.
I am not sure what a TC is, but my MERV is geared with the stock spur and the "speed" pinion with a center diff and top speed is 30 mph with 2S LiPo.
There are TONS of mods:
axles
esc
motor
rockers
transmission
shocks
rods
chassis
wheels
tires
hexes
servo
mounts
bodies
I am sure I am missing something...
basically, I think it is possible to have a 1/16 RC without a single Traxxas part.

is the spur gear standard 48p?

I doubt you could get a rally to keep up with a TC. TCs have been developing and improving massively over the last 10 years, and are ultra-competitive. There is no way a rally (a lowered mini slash) could keep up with these ultra-competitive race-bred TC beasts.

but has enyone tried driveing these against a tc car an won a race ?
like there is a lot of hop ups they can go the same speed and the tires are inter changable so how bad is the car series compaird to a car bred for tc
could i ask for a video of a traxxas car against a tc car
