Crazy! I can't wait to see the final amount that it sells for.
It's gone up like $30 in the last five minutes, I'd bid myself, but think it will be out of my range.

How does something "look like a toy grade" rc?
Either it is, or it isn't.
Every one has their own opinion. This guy does not like it. I ♥ it! To each his own.☺

"Feld Motor Sports has announced that Traxxas "The Fastest Name in Radio Control," signed a multi-year agreement to be the official and exclusive hobby class radio control truck of Monster Energy Supercross, an FIM World Championship, that begins January 8, 2011 at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif.
The agreement marks Traxxas’ inaugural partnership with Monster Energy Supercross, just two years after becoming a team sponsor of the Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki team. Traxxas’ support of the championship is in an effort to utilize Monster Energy Supercross to help promote their brand in a popular action sports industry appealing to a wider audience.
"Traxxas is excited to sponsor Monster Energy Supercross for 2011," said Mike Jenkins, President, Traxxas. "It’s a perfect fit. Supercross fans’ enthusiastic response to our sponsorship efforts in 2010 with the Pro Circuit team and Kawasaki’s Team Green amateur motocross program made the decision to move up to the championship’s sponsor an easy one. We’re looking forward to bringing high-performance Traxxas fun to an even wider audience in 2011. Monster Energy Supercross is an incredible sport to watch and the riders are supremely skilled athletes. Traxxas is proud to be The Official Hobby Class Radio-Controlled Truck of Supercross."
In addition to being one of the highly-recognized sponsors of Monster Energy Supercross, Traxxas will receive traditional sponsorship benefits and exhibit space within the pit party at 16 races to showcase their try-me-track that will give fans a first-hand experience of the industry-leading Traxxas hobby-class radio-controlled product.
"We are excited to bring Traxxas on board for the 2011 season," said Dave Prater, director of supercross. "Through Monster Energy Supercross, Traxxas products will be showcased to three-quarters of a million fans, which will be a great springboard for channeling their state-of-the-art R/C equipment."
I just glanced in here and caught the thread. That Camaro is a beasty looking machine! I was holding out for the Mustang, but that Camaro is killer. I'm thinking real hard on bidding on this!

The ebay bid is too much.
they have 2 for sale now.
filmmaker any date yet for the camaro?
They are exclusively available to Monster Distributors. If you're waiting for Tower to get them don't hold your breath!
So does that mean the public CAN buy one from a Monster Distributor? Or are they for give aways and stuff only? Also, what is a "Monster Distributor"? Is that like, a 7-11 or other variety store? Or is a distributor like a warehouse company? Just curious who will actually be getting these as id consider buying one just to get the body.
Monster does not have them for sale. They were for promotion purposes only and not available from retail stores. The ones you are seeing listed are just people who don't realize how cool and exclusive they are. :)
majestic can you tell us if a Camaro body, clear or Pro Graphics style will ever be available for general consumers?
P eter V would be the one to ask for a rock-solid answer. IMO: I'm sure they would be available in future, it would be a waste of a beautiful mold if not.
It cant be cheap to both licence and produce a body like that just to give it away and never make any money on it. I have to think we'll be seeing solid colors at some point... or clear. Either way. I think what would be cool for a prographics body would be to have the chrome parts pre-painted and let the user choose their own solid color.
+1 on that one pavement. My LHS can paint for me so thatll be a breeze. heres hopin. and maybe preinstalled or a part you can buy to add on buckets for led lights. Cmon traxxas, you have a license for it, make it the absolute best body hands down no doubt about it!
They are a limited run so I don't see them really being available. There's not even a part number for the body or wheels.

Man did I get lucky last night! I work for Coca Cola who distributes monster energy drinks. We had our holiday party last night and guess what I won. The Monster 69 Camaro. This is probably one of the sweetest looking bodies I have ever seen.

Or people who don't need/want a rc car and would prefer to make a nice chunk of change by selling something they received for free. At the time of this post the auction is up to $360 with a day to go.
not worth getting one for that high price unless it is kept for the shelf. just to look at.
they already have a mustang and fiesta, do you really thing Chevy is not going to want a part of this, this kit will come out eventually, probably sooner than later, then the guy who pays $400 for the shelf queen is going to be feeling really good!
Ok Guys here it is I have found another Monster Energy Limited Edition 69 Camaro. Here is the link to check it out!
