Good winter tires !.
Used wheel rims, tires not very new, and simplicity: Chains with self-tapping screws directly to the rims.
If you are going to try it it is best to pre-drill bit a hole with a 1.5 mm (0.059 in).
Do not deform with the traction, even on rock.
The screws from inside the tire are ideal for ice, rubber profiles are also attached for use on soft snow.

The truth is I've never believed that snow chains can be very helpful in these cases. Is needed very special packed snow, which is not always present.
But we can not deny that just mounting them and the Summit/Emaxx seems much stronger and capable in the snow!.

I plan on making these chains for my summit and I was wondering how much traction you get on the snow. I would like to plow my driveway and side walks when there is small amounts of snow and obiviosly I need good traction for that.

Hi, you all shared really nice information here for making tire chain, Actually this is the most important thing which we all should know and i also would like to share an experts experience who said that "the faster you drive with the chains equipped, the quicker they'll wear out. This is especially true on dry pavement, which can destroy traditional metal-links". May all these things prove useful for you people.

On my stampede 4x4 it helped the stock talons get thru the snow but they were kinda heavy so it made the truck sink in the snow more
