hi all, im running out of ideas, i have an emaxx 3906 hardly been used, and was out yesterday with it, all seems fine, then just suddenly stopped wotking, the red light was flashing, so thought it was the thermal cutout, left to cool down and still flashes, disconnected the batteries left overnight, and today still the same
any ideas of is it looking like my evx has broke

What red light is flashing? ESC or on the radio? Check the manual, both can blink and at different rates, and the rate they blink at determines what the problem is.
Call 888-TRAXXAS (888-872-9927). Have your truck and transmitter ready with batteries installed. You won't have to wait long (if at all) for a person to pick up, it's not like calling tech support for your cable provider or phone service :)
With a live person, you can say, "No, the LED isdn't blinking" (or whatever) and they'll be able to troubleshoot in real time. You're welcome to post here, of course, but these things are usually easier to do on the phone.
