Started it life as 3905, now with Twin Waterproof VXL systems in it, 68 spur and 19 pinions, run it on 5200 2s 30c lipos mostly, RPM a-arms in the front, Traxxas cvds all around, FLM chassis with FLM dogbones, front/rear aluminum bulks, spring steel front skid, FLM rear tower, 2 speed tranny with close ratio gears, dyed geode rims on chevrons, t-maxx body, wheelie bar, 2075 servos, relocated larger receiver box, front aluminum bumper and rear 1/4" steel bumper, front shocks are chinese aluminum and rears are stock with better springs ( OFNA buggy ones are coming)

Before the first run with a Proline Silverado body... This body has been nothing but a pain since i started with it... Paint didnt take correctly, dunno if i thank Proline, Pactra or my impatience... Long story short, i ended up with paint all over, used a "outdoor plastic" paint on the outside and about four hundred coats of clear coat and this is the result. Actually looks kinda cool, doubt it'll hold up though!

It's heavy, the shocks leak, shock shafts bend rather easily, the RPM arms and FLM shock towers have been either bent back into shape or replaced more than once! It's crazy fast and a blast to mod and tinker with.

My wife can't believe how much $ I spend on this thing. It's my only hobby I have anymore besides fishing and I don't have a boat (yet!) so I tell her be happy I'm not wasting it on something completely useless. She is, but it still baffles her. Yet she enjoys driving it (when it ain't broke...) as well. Now I just need to make a plow setup for winter, and maybe some tracks :cool:
