Hi guys, im new to this site so please excuse me if i do anything stupid. :) so i have a revo 2.5 which i have put a 3.3 motor in, i have run about 7 litres through it and it has been going well but thr other day my engine was running fine but i stripped a 38 tooth spur gear so i took my engine out and put a 40 tooth in. ever since i did that my engine has not run properly. i got it tuned proffesionaly and he got it to sort of start like sometimes it idles other times it sounds like it wants ttwo. wen it does idle if i give it throttle it cuts out and its not running rich soo its not getting to much fuel. i have replaced glow pugs pulled it out of the car to start it but nothing will work. pleaseee help so i can get bak to having some fun :) ;) cheers.
well dude if i was u i would go get a battery powered rc cuz tha gas ones arent all that good.
Try buying a new glow plug and if it still doesnt work after that then reset the hsn and lsn it worked for me Hsn 4-6 turns out from closed Lsn flush with carburator Try that and if it still doesnt work then maybee think about gettin it repaired or buying another engine
I had a similar problem with mine not wanting to start and when it would it would idle really strange, I had to buy a new carb because the idle screw stripped out in mine. I had also contacted traxxas support and they said it could also be my one way bearing cause if it stays engaged it will cause the motor to die. Mine did the same thing tho ran great then suddenly stopped wanting to run and then I replaced my carb and it fired right up and other than a little tuning that i need to do it hasnt given me a problem since.
