What R/Cs do you have and how long have you been in the hobby? I'll start. :) I have a JATO 3.3 and an E-REVO with a DeWalt 12v drill motor in it on 4s. I have been in the hobby for about 4yrs.
im only 13 and have been in the hobby for 10+ years. i still have my original pro .15 t-maxx that i got 10 years ago...but now it has a 3.3 in it, the cars i have are an xl-1 rustler, nitro sport, pro .15 t-maxx with a 3.3 in it, mini e-revo (sold it), revo 3.3 that i used to race and now it out of commission due to chassis and engine problems, and i have a revo 3.3 that i got for free from a guy that was about to throw it away. the only one that runs is the free revo 3.3 because ive gotten a new engine and people on here have sent me parts and ive spent alot of money on it. im actually gonna race the free revo next weekand after i get my truggy tires and the few parts i need. Im a very good sport, and in racing i am very good. (Read next part...ran out of room)
(Continued) Im in a small block revo racing against the big block truggies and i am in the top 3 almost every race. all the guys have tons of respect for me for going out and useing a revo against everyone. I usually bump people off the corners and bump then on the jumps and it makes everybody laugh. and im out with just a toolbox and my car, most guys have big stations with tarps and like 50 tires and like 10 trucks.
I'm 14, been in the hobby for almost 2 years now, and I'm in the process of either restoring my poor e-revo or gat a Summit to work on.
I forgot to add that I'm 14. haha.
I've been in this hobby for 2 years now. My first rc was a Stampede XL-5 that I bought of a friends brother. That was back when they where not waterproof and had molex connectors. Then I sold that to get a gokart. Then September 2010 I sold my gokart to get back into rc. I bought another, new, water-proof, stampede xl-5. 6 months later, I sold that to get a Slash VXL, which i have now. I'm in the process of getting a traxxas blast too. And I'm saving for some spc lipos.
Ive been in this hobby with a truck of my ownfor about 7 months now i am twelve i am a slash basher and hopefully soon racer but their arent alot of tracks around me so im building my backyard grass track because we dont have enough dirt. i have a friend who has all sorts a money and 4 trucks but i beat him cause he needs to better contrl his trucks but he races with me and we have fun
