View Full Version : Traxxas you need to have a place to buy ideams on your site?
I think it would be great to have it so you can buy stuff of your site. You would probobly make a pretty penne too.

I think I read somewhere that the reason traxxas does not have online shopping is because they don't have a secure server and any cc info you put in to buy things could be seen by anybody..

I love my Traxxas vehicles but here is my opinions. With all the money Traxxas makes selling RTR's and parts you would think they could afford a secure server. Also, all their parts are on backorder everywhere so they would even be on backorder directly from Traxxas so what is the sence in opening an online store that they have no product to sell on!?!?!

I was wondering why that is. But so many people sell parts, i am sure you could completely rebuild your truck with the same design, without using any stock parts at all.

if they sold on line it would cut out the middle men (LHS) and they dont need to do that to the people that built this hobby

You are right StockRustlr! We don't sell directly from our website to avoid competing with the hobby shops. The LHS built our hobby for sure! We do have the secure server and the capability. You may see us sell marketing things like posters, T-Shirts, decals, etc. in the future.
We are addressing the backordered parts situation. We have made getting parts current a top priority. Sometimes the demand for certain parts catches us off guard and out of stock. We don't like that anymore than you do!
