How come you guys didn't make the new version of the Nitro/Electric Rustler/Stampedes truck with a set of Steel Out-Put yokes. They are know to be a hassle. I would also like to point out that I have 3 stampedes and 2 Rustlers, I'va had them for Long time now and the ONLY thing I have even broken on them was the casual stripped gears which are because of the fast motors I run and the Out-put yokes until I finally bought steel ones for all 4 trucks. Traxxas has the strongest cars out there, I have landed for huge jumps and not even done anything, and after I founf out about my chassis bottoming out(duh!) i put the spacers on the shock and now my 2 newest pede dont have one scracht. Too bad I did'nt find this out when i only had the first pede....now shes all scratched up!

Steel yokes are expensive. Most users get away with not needing them so we don't include them to keep the kit cost from being too high. The plastic yokes have undergone several improvements over the years to increase durability.
Be glad that the option to install steel yokes is available for hotter motor installation.

Thats kinda like how the Pede got older so instead of lowering the price they added painted bodies, bbs in the tranny, chrome rims, and other stuff. The nitro version got older too so they added a high torque servo, blue chassis, and chrome rims to keep the cost up.

i wouldn't say to keep the cost up, but too keep on moving them. i am sure that the maxx cut into rustler and stampede sales a little. then again the maxx probably doubled trx's sales http://www.traxxas.com/ubb/smile.gif
how come you guys can't say how many cars you move? i like to know how my favorite r/c company is doing http://www.traxxas.com/ubb/smile.gif

Modro, It would be kind of like posting your last years tax return on the message board. Gentlemen just don't talk about such things. http://www.traxxas.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Mustang, Quite a bit of Companys put there ecnomic and financial Statements on display on there web sites, even if there are woes.
So its not real bad as you might think, being in a Fourtune 500 company employee i can tell you that it is possiable to find and financial problems and the ups and downs of there companies....
I mean we the customers make this company what it is in a way, we buy the stuff you make, Not to many people are interested in Financial states of compnays but its nice to have a company that cares enough for the Consumer to put it up for display....
Thanks for the Post http://www.traxxas.com/ubb/smile.gif
