I am waiting on Traxxas to come out with a truck like the TMAXX but bigger and that runs off of a typical homelite weed-eater engine for cost savings.
I think this would be a very reliable set-up.
I also think that if you do come out with such a monster, the price should not exceed 500.00 dollars. this does not have to be a 4-wheel drive truck either, just big enough to house a typical weed-eater engine.
maybe im going alittle overboard on the price but not like the other big vehicles.
if the price is kept to a minimum, Im sure you would sell soooo many like hot cakes!!!

A bit cynical aren't you Subaru?
Actually you're probably right. Those big Zenoah engines don't come cheap. You wouldn't want just a plain old Homelite motor because you can't hop them up (easily)and they don't make the same kind of power that the Zenoah does. It's no good if it's slow!

But what if you used like a 30cc they have alot of power and you can hop them up because I specialize in small engine repair.
I've hopped up two already, One a Homelite 30cc and a Ryobi 30cc, put one on a 59.00 dollar scooter, And that sucker would fly too, Till I got busted by the cops and told me to stay off the streets with it because I was running 45mph on that scooter, lol. And the other one is attatched to my saw, I also have a mowing buisness.
If I was you guys I was experiment around with those 69 to 99.00 dollar weed eater engines I think you'll be suprised.
You'll find that hopping those engines up are easier than you think, all it takes is imagination like putting a carb off of a bigger cc engine, like a chain saw
doing some typical porting and polishing
and a hotter plug and no baffle you have one screaming homelite.
I garauntee if its done right it would blow any Zenoah away.
Any way it's just a suggestion.
Have a nice day!!! http://www.traxxas.com/ubb/smile.gif
P.S.
I think I might billed a proto type
I hope You'll wish me luck.
Thankyou.
