with the mip cvds i noticed that with two of the plastic spacers the fit for the stub axle is too tight, but with just one it is too loose. how many spacers do you guys run on each axle?

You need to use the Traxxas Fiber Shims, the grey looking ones. I used three on the outside or you can space them out between both sides. On my 4x4 I used one big shim and one fiber shim and works just fine also.

where do you get the fiber shims? i guess i will do a search on tower for those.

anyone know where to get these gray shims? did they come with the stampede kit? because my brother doesn't have any so he must have lost them if they did.

One plastic and one fiber (sometimes called a Teflon washer) should work fine. I think you're better off putting the fiber washer next to the bearing because it seems to have less friction.

thanks alot. we will have to stop buy our lhs and get some of these one day so we can use the pede when his turbuckles get here.
