I've only run the slipper on my truck. When racing SC whats the advantage or disadvantage of running the center diff. compared to the slipper clutch?

Centre diff will transfer torque front to rear as needed rather than the slipper which is a 50/50 split

On a high traction surface (like carpet) the slipper will givy you a lot of punch off the line, and a siff will transfer more power to the front wheels. This will cause the front tires to spin, but you will have excellent steering, where the slipper will tend to push more than the diff.
On low traction surface the center diff makes the truck much more manageable. The slipper will usually cause a lot of oversteer in hi power setups. When setting up the center diff (adjusting oil weights) start with lighter oil, and try and get a good balance between punch/acceleration on launch, and good power on corner exit stability.

Thank you both.
Would there be any need to adjust gearing when switching to the center diff ?
