Verdict is in. XO-1 is crazy fast. Traxxas wasn't playing around with the warning labels. Some videos released at this point put drivers or their unsuspecting brethren dangerously close to the path of this monster. Some even stupidly close! And all of this on less than ideal 'track' conditions (ermm.. like a hilly road?). My sense is we will see some press on an injury or worse not too far out from now.

I don't understand why you are jumping on this like it's some new issue. If you run the math you'll find many current RCs come quite close, although not as fast there are many heavier units that happily roll along at 60-70mph providing more energy on impact then an XO-1
