ok guys i need some help here i took my mmm2200 out of my summit it was just to much for it , but its an animal in my slash , and a big thanks to crusey for help with the gearing and programming on it, but hear is were i need the help now i have a mmp 2400 not in use do you all think its strong enough with low gearing to move my summit , i asked this on the summit forum but not alot of awnsers ,i know alot of people here use that system so any help would be appricated .or i might just have to try it and see

umm havenīt seen the 2400 on 1/8 scale, most 1/8 run mmm-2200 or 2650. Probably you will get more answer on summit, erevo, emaxx forums. The summit is a scaler not a speed monster, convert it into a erevo if you want to make it a speed car.

im not going for speed i got it with a 2200 mmm i want to know if the smaller 2400 would power it and the summit crew could really awnser me because they all use the stock, or mmm and the tekin setup i know i beig cheap but its what i have to work with

2400 should be more than capable if geared correctly
Its rated at 2400 watts or so

The 2400 will have the power but the shaft diameter may be an issue in the Summit, you'd hate to snap it off playing in the rough.....

Agreed would be wise to get the 5mm rotor upgrade

i dont really crawl alot so to saw im putting it in now i geared it 13/68 so we will see thanks for all the help

i meant to type i dont crawl alot or really use the locker to much im going to order the 5mm shaft today the truck is alot lighter with this system in it and my slash is alot me fun with the 2200 mmm the summit just wants to break dumb stuff with the mmm and on 4s you couldnt really open it up
it work awsome it has plenty of speed , it jumps well its easyier to control in the air thank you to everyone that replied i got temps of 103 on the ecs and 139 on the motor that was on 4s and left the slipper loose do it easyier in the shaft and the temp was with out the fan not the slash is going to get 6s
