Hello. do you think about this combo: castle 1410 3800kv and castle sv2? buy a slash used and I have this castle combo. I think using it in 3s.

yes it is possible, but you will have to gear it low because it tends to run hot on 3s, it is a great combo for 2s.

The 2400 system is better for 3and 4s. Lower temps and you can gear it for insane speeds!

with a cut in the body and big cooler is possible use in 3s?

i bash with the 3800 on 3S but everyone is right, you need to keep a close eye on temps. it can get hot in a hurry. i don't mind bringing it in for a few minutes to cool every few minutes if i can get the speed i like. if you are really just getting it for bashing, you're far better off with the 2400 combo.

both will get hot, but the esc will get hotter. I had the esc at 200F, and the motor at 160F. A fan over the esc will help.

the opposite happens to me. i run 54/18 on my 3800, and my motor heats up much faster than my esc. but i don't normally run the motor fan either.

dosen't the esc thermal before it gets to 200 degrees?
