So im still frying esc's in my merv and still no one knows whats happening. I got a mmp sct in return to make up for the goods broken by unknown reason.
When installing, what is wise to look after?
What should i be doing and what shouldnt i do.
Im just not accepting smoking escs anymore. Period

Before installing the esc remove your motor and lift the merv and while no wheels are touching anything rotate the spur gear and see how smooth it is! Mine for example has a little binding somewhere in the driveline (from new) but i have not blown an esc (stock or mamba max) so unless your driveline is binding lots you should be fine to re-fit motor and esc and have lots of fun.

Check the receiver for brownouts while loading up the servo
Calibrate the ESC to your transmitter with the correct trim / travel (EPA) settings
Setup ESC parameters correctly before running it

does the motor turn easy as mine had a extra washer which was making the esc cut out
