100% same car but to make the money work they put a horrible motor in the car to lower price for the 60 dollar game. Its like all show no go. I almost bout that and SO glad i didnt. FYI can already get dirt 3 used for 35 dollars.

I just wonder how the car runs with a 550 titan on it

550 motor is a Buggy motor I believe produces ALOT of torque etc slower motor. I went and spent the extra bucks for brushless cause it has the same Torque but will melt tires.

Just thought I'd join up and say that I bought one of these off Ebay recently thinking it was the 7309 model, but after reading this and then receiving realised it was the 7308 model.
But to be honest as I don't have any direct experience with the 7309, I can't really compare.
This one in my mind is stupidly quick and hard to control, loves to slide and go in circles... my only complaint is that after 6hrs charge the battery only lasts for about 30mins (not actually timed) of constant fun.
Is this common?

I had a guy do some tweaking to my suspension and he did wonders, car not as prone to flip now! and I still have the stock weight oil in it.
he basically adjusted the rear shocks threads to where it was really soft where the rear lower skid plate is almost touching the ground by like 2mm and adjusted the rear camper so the rear wheels were bowing outwards slightly from the top of the tires.
He suggested heavier springs and links to adjust toe. I am going to also put in 80 weight oil in the shocks and looking for harder springs from a hardware store as someone on here suggested.

30 minutes of run time on a single battery is excellent. Just get a better charger to charge the battery quicker and you are set.
One of my buddies say just a simple change to stickier tires help him with the sliding around.

OK I said 30mins.. lol just slightly off.. had a another play today.. and the battery lasted about 15-20mins..
I keep sliding in to things.. might have to take a trip to an empty Car Park one night..

Open space, and I MEAN open are always good for these and every other RC lol. school/church parking lots etc. is what I like to use, especially with more than 1 car/truck out at a time. if thats on the stock powercell thats not bad run-time. 30minutes would've been good but 20minutes is good too. they are only 1200mah

Ok Ill chime in on this.... I did a Big Block Conversion to my KB and honestly I couldnt be happier. I actually have done some things that actually make it RALLY CAPABLE. New Wheels, OFF Road Tires (2.2 Size tires, wheels) adjusted and tuned suspension, XL-5 ESC for the time being since the Stock ESC for the Brushless (VXL-3m) is horrible cant handle any power put through it or any decent run time. Fried 2 of them just running a small 1300 3s LiPo... anyways. I used a Titan 12t motor from a Stampede as well as the ESC, no the car isnt grease lightning but its still quick as well you know. I like this change in controllable speed but more so like the improved torque it produces. Like I said I have done a lot of things to change its running ability as well as changed the spur gear. I cant remember the exact number but I went with the stock gearing of a Summit. I was trying to get better gearing since I changed the tire wheel combo. I was trying to save the VXL setup from burning out but no luck there. I figured if the summit can run those size tires and be good so should I..... NOPE! Oh well, but honestly the 12t Big Block in the Rally is actually a lot of fun. Not like you cant convert it to the Brushless Version later.
