Hi I am going to be selling my emaxx and am pretty set on buying a slash or stampede 4x4 because its 4x4 with one battery. I was wondering that with either 2.8 badlands or trenchers if I would be loosing any offroad capabilitiness? Also I might buy a roller and use a castle system but are the mip x-duties neccasary? And I have read problems about the motor mount?

I have both vehicles with the sct 3800 motor combo, the slash has mip on rear, but the pede doesn't, I have run the pede with 3s and still haven't broken anything, so for me that part is not necessary, also I did not have any problem with the motor mount, not sure what system are you looking for but have seen from mmpro 2400 up to mmm 2200kv on it without problem. I like them both, but the slash is more stable my pede is like a crazy mule.

If you are going to get the Stampede 4x4, get a body lowering kit, too. Dirt, dust, and rocks can get under the body with those high body mounts.
