I heard that they were pretty expensive. I'm not sure if it would offer much better performance than the slash 4x4 bellcrank system

I bought mine about 1 month ago, if you have a stock slash it's worth every penny, it has the longer bolts and shims to mount directly to the chassis. We all know when you bash the front steering always pops out from the chassis after a while. But I have the STRC LCG on my slash, didn't do much of a difference. It is a bit smoother but again anytime you put a new part its always better.

I built my LCG slash, using my own LCG brackets, and a Bandit/ Rusty chassis, and it offers a much smoother/ faster response, because of the bearings, instead of relying on the washers of the stock steering. The problem I've read about, with using a 4x4 steering set, is it screws up the steering geometry, because of the center link being longer, and not allowing as much wheel throw. I bought my steering kit for $30, and it's worth every penny of it, to me. just my 2 cents worth.

You can put 5x8x2.5 traxxas part #5114 bearings into the plastic bellcrank and then you have the smoothness of bearings instead of bushings. And for a couple extra dollars the rpm front skid. Then you have a nice smooth turning bellcrank that will never pop out for less than $30
