I couldn't log into my other account, so here is the new one! Guys, I need honest opinions on my next upgrades. Just finished the RPM upper & lower, front and rear A-arms. T-bone 4 piece set, RPM axle carriers, and a new Diff set in the rear (old was was stripped). I've heard mixed reviews on Pushrods, etc. and which to avoid. Can i get some insight as to which ones worked best for you? Also, shocks... please help!

I had HR tierods those are junk don't get them, traxxas and GPM are fine, about shocks had the gpm but those are way too much stiffer, I would get just the aluminum body of the shocks and swap the internals with stiffer springs tan on front and black on rear with 60wt oil is a common set up.

can't you put traxxas springs on GPM shocks? I think I'm just confused by the wording, to get the ideal setup I'd buy a complete set of GPM shocks, and change out the springs. Which is different than just buying aluminum shock bodies because of the aluminum caps and spring cups you also want. I'm going the expensive route with traxxas GTR shock bodies, and TiN shafts (buying them separate is cheaper than the traxxas kt) then adding aluminum caps, collars, cups and rod ends from other brands, I might put on piggyback shock reservoirs for bling.

These haven't been released yet but if you have the money I'd get these guys

As i browse different sites, i'm noticing some offer turnbuckle type, or straight rods for the toe links and tie rods. Can someone give me a link to which ones would be best to order.

The GPM stainless steel set is really good and they do not break the thread ends like the GPM aluminum. Toyz has them. Get an extra set of the plastic rod ends as those are what you will need to replace in the long run. I am using these myself.

Never tried the Traxxas one, but supposedly the grade of the aluminum is better than the rest of the aluminum ones on the market, so if weigh is a concern, Traxxas gets the vote.

So I noticed last night my tires have a few cuts, etc in them. What wheel/tire combo have you had the best luck with? I'm normally just running it in the street, and in the yard.. Not much dirt, etc...

dirt hawgs are ok but taller then stock you need to gear for them or you'll have heat issues. I didn't like the heavy beadlocks and the wheels popped out a few times.. Lots of wrenching to fix. I now use the traxxas dish rims. They are offset unlike the titus too so it helps keep you from flipping.

I actually like the low profile stock wheels alot and when I had 1 tear I bought a new set took them off the stock rim "taped" them so they can't balloon and put them on the wide dished rims too <3
