Well bought this thing almost 5 months ago and this would be the first time i have ran a full batter cycle through it maybe the 3rd time I have even took it off the shelf. When it got here i though it looks pretty cool, so charged up the stock battery and went to play was very disappointed. So I ordered a set of 1800mah Lipo, while I was waiting on them to show up I picked up and extra used esc and motor online, so the lipo’s showed up I charged on and tossed it in.. yea it is fast, but the ESC seems to want to over heat any suggestions? I am only running a single lipo, I have a heat sink on the motor.
it is was 76deg here today so kind of mild outside.

When running the LiPo('s) did you reprogram the ESC for LiPo mode as described on page 17 of the manual?

Dual batteries really make a difference. I have both the series and parallel connectors, but haven't yet tried the series yet. Just in parallel mode it seems to run better - IMO. Speed runs in series are recommended for specialized conditions do to the strain/heat on the components, in other words not for everyday driving/bashing.
