I think that this is my second ESC that is having the stuttering problems...

I recently purchased the summit vxl 1/16th and already sent the ESC back to traxxas and they gave me a new one, box and all, and yet, this one is doing the same thing. Should I call traxxas back and see what they say or?

Are you sure it's just not cogging really bad? What batteries are you using? Are you using the stock gear ratio?

it could be just cogging. The batteries i had in when it was happening were 2 dynamite 2s lipo 2200mah batteries in parallel.
