If you had a bunch of extra $$ and a New Summit vxl.. what would you do?

I have a few bucks and cant seem to decide what to do with it. I want to make my Summit "better". Ive read through almost all the threads and have some idea's but you know that old sayin.. "Hindsight is 20/20".. since most in here are owners who've had thier Summits longer than i have im looking to those guys for guidance.

What would you do, what would you buy, what wouldnt you buy?.. get it?

Some idea's im working with are:

1) new Beads and Tires- probably Proline Epics and Geolanders
2) add the 2nd steering servo
3) lights

Do you have any other reccomendations?

I drive it like i stole it when im outside.. Love to hit the dirt and watch that suspension do its thing. Jumps etc etc.. I also love driving it around indoors- chasing my kid etc.. so some low speed stability is also key.

Thanks to all that answer!!

Definitely go for the lights, even if it's just the front. I love the look my truck with them.

Rpm a-arms are a good idea, especially if you've broken any of the stock ones. I still have stock plastic axle carriers, but I know a lot of guys around here run aluminum axle carriers and love them

only the rpm front arms will work. the rear arms on the summit are swept back to make the wheel base longer.

RPM arms work perfect all the way around. And there's less stress on the rear axles since the arms aren't swept back the 10mm. They now go straight out to the knuckles.

NICE... are your wheels using an offset extender? Looks pretty sick, i'd like to see more pics.

definately get those beadlocks. i like the titus from proline myself but those will make a world of difference. rpm anything you can. except bumpers you really dont need those yet! PM for more details. i got so much info on the mini's. thats all i do is the mini traxxas cars now. so all my resources go into 1/16.

ok i should of stated it differently. the rpm arms will work BUT you will shorten the wheelbase of the truck by using them.

Well no one has said it yet but if you havent done it yet you will most likely need to shim the diffs. Aluminum shockbodies with threaded retainer caps. The stock ones leak.

if your going to run ya summit fast and do jumps.
traxxas mini revo cvds! check to see if you need to shim your diffs!
GPM steel tie rods! and i know everyone says its only a band aid fix, but every time i aint got my band aids on i over heat!heatsinks and fans!
traxxas servos are junk! get yourself one ******* servo! you wil just keep cooking the traxxas ones, waist of money.
I havnt put rpm arms on my truck yet, but i wouldnt put them on the back. the summit already has such a high center of gravity that shortening wouldnt help, especially for climbing stuff. unless your always guna drive it flat stick but then its height hurts it in the speed department. Too unstable, but if your patient you will learn how to drive it! Also put light weight oil in the front diff than the back diff if you wana drive it fast, helps it drift better and helps it prevents roll overs.
Also if your realy goin to be jumping this thing. if doing big jumps, brace up your diffs/chassis or get alloy diff housings. the mini summit hurts diffs when jumping big!
Check my summit build http://traxxas.com/forums/showthread.php?8926186-From-oh-no-to-oh-yeah

and heres my merv vs summit review, posting this link so you can see what i think the diffrences in these trucks are. manly coz you said you wana run your truck fast and do jumps http://traxxas.com/forums/showthread.php?8930403-MERV-vs-mini-SUMMIT-review!

have fun man, the summits rad!
