As you can see the back of the body is completely separate to the main body, it all bolts together, the silver trim on the front is a sticker whilst on the rear it appears to be metal bent around the body. BB motor mount and the CC4600 are a perfect fit, the rear suspension just clears the can, just waiting for my brushed summit and my fiesta now, will leave the Fiesta as is, but will convert the summit to the same CC4600 but with a sidewinder.

Thanks for the pics and the info, I have the same motor and waiting for the traxxas big block mount to put it in. This answers a lot of questions and makes me that much more anxious to get my hands on that hardware
Thanks for sharing. Definitely one of my favorite rc cars.

Ughhh... I cant look at this thread anymore. It makes me too jealous. I saw one on e-bay for $400... I just bought a brushed Fiesta for $170 shipped... I cant justify spending $230 more just for the body and wheels. But man... id pay ALOT for that body and wheels though...

I wouldn't worry about it. In a year or so, Traxxas will probably release the Camaro body and wheels at a reasonable price to the public. It doesn't make any sense why they would pay GM for the license to use the Camaro body and only make 100 or so bodies. And especially after all the eBay trafficking and realizing all their efforts to make it a "limited edition" was moot, I don't see any reason why Traxxas wouldn't release the Camaro body.

It has been posted by a Traxxas employee that they wont be releasing the Camaro body and that the license fee for it was based on a limited number of bodies. I dont think any of us can say for sure either way and things can change but at this point it looks doubtful the Camaro body will become available to the public.

Tower of course, $204 for a super saver club member (member special price) less a $35 discount.
Which means by the time you buy one of the limited edition camaros off ebay for $450 shipped... at best, youve spent just under $300 for the body and wheels. As cool as this car is, I cant justify that.
It will be really funny when one of the aftermarket companies releases a 69' mo.
