Alright. It got loose. I wanna either fix it for now. Or just upgrade. What should i upgrade to.. i want no slop Whatsoever forever with them. Lol. HR knuckles are very expensive. Is that the best bet or is the pastic ones from RPM anygood?

I have RPM knuckles on my MERV and have been very pleased. Some people have reported issues with them but I honestly believe the issues are related to how they are set up or installed, that is just my opinion. For my MERV they removed the slop and have been very durable for a LOT less $$$ than any aluminum knuckles on the market.

Im just gonna order the rpm ones... itll save me about $20 from getting HR ones :P thanks

I have tried both and they are both good. I currently use the HR since I like the aluminum and I like using a large hex to adjust them rather than the extremely small hex rpm uses. That being said the rpm ones with their annoying small screws do perform the best and provide the most adjustment.

I saw an add in RCCA with Traxxas alloy caps for the pivot balls like these
but I can't find that add now
The rpms are overpriced being that they dont include the $.15 wrench. I payed $28 for my set of 4 from hobbytown, then had to buy a $12 wrench set for the standard .050 wrench. All to have plastic knuckles.
On the other hand, they work perfectly like dad said, take out all slop. You just have to read the instructions and install them correctly.

I take back what I said about the HR knuckles, they just cost me a servo from them binding up (I'll skip all the details here but posted them in another thread). Back running the RPM and although the screws are way too small for my taste they really are the best I've found so far. If I was to go back to aluminum I would probably try GPM
